A ketogenic diet is a low-carbohydrate, high-fat diet. Although it has benefits as a medical treatment for certain groups of people, there is little evidence to recommend it as a long-term weight loss technique. People who follow a ketogenic diet eat very small amounts of carbohydrates, a moderate amount of protein and a high amount of fat per day.

The Lakanto range is** keto-friendly** – noted by our ‘Keto Friendly’ icon on all packaging. A team of independent nutritionists and developers have noted that the total amount of carbs per serve is less than 5% of the daily carb intake when on a keto diet.
