The Lakanto maple syrup has been developed to be the perfect sugar-free companion to top off your pancakes or waffle. Can be heated but boiling should be avoided in order to ensure flavour profile and texture is not compromised.
Potassium sorbate is used to inhibit molds and yeasts in many foods, such as cheese, wine, yoghurt, dried meats, apple cider, rehydrated fruits, soft drinks and fruit drinks, and baked goods. We use it in a very small amount in our maple syrup in order to ensure no bacteria growth and to keep the PH constant during temperature fluctuations.
