We use this icon only when our independent nutritionists have verified that the portion size and available sugars from other ingredients are low enough to ensure there is a minimal rise in blood sugar levels. This is a difficult task, as almost all those who suffer from type 1 or type 2 diabetes, will be very careful of the types of carbohydrates they consume.
